Eiši is located on the North-west tip of Eysturoy.
In the center of the village there is a large stonechurch from 1881. It was built in connection with the villages 100 year anniversary.
In Eiši there is a hotel and it is also possible to camp there.
In walking-distance from Eiši is the 343 meter high promontory 'Eišiskollur'. From the top there is a beautiful view over the sea and the islands. From here it is possible to look down on 'Risin og Kellingin' that are two legendary rocks that rise 75 meter up from the sea.
A couple of kilometers south-east of Eiši is a dammed lake called 'Eišisvatn'. The water from the dam is supplying a hydroelectric power station below.
